    Two Blogs in one day

Went to Hospital but it was no for the Echogram - that is now next week.  Specialist has said my tiredness and feeling lethargic is possibly a combination of my age and the early starts I have several times a week, long drives and then home late. Working long hours and at weekends is probably needing to be looked at and some better planning introduced.

Today I have only had one cup of tea as against my normal 8 or 9 by now.  The reduction in sugar and milk will make a difference to my overall fitness.

Cutting down on milk and drinking sweet soya milk has in the past got rid of all my aches and pains.  We eat sensibly anyway so not much change needed in that department.

Only one small problem my Sister Dorothy and her Husband Charlie are down from Scotland for the weekend  so we will be eating out - mind you as long as I am reasonably sensible it should not matter too much.

    Take care and stay safe

  • return cycle

Collected bike from Howard this morning and cycled it home.  Improved my average MPH to just over 10 mph instead of just under 10 mph.  Sun was shining, birds singing it really was very nice.

Felt pretty good after the cycle and really enjoyed it - looking forward to cycling tomorrow.  Getting ready to go to the hospital for checks.

Bought shoes for cycling  - made by Lakeland and great for walking as well which will help when pushing up the hills.  Bearings on bike fixed, mirror, new brake cables, wheels adjusted and greased all over.  Total bill came to  £105 - this cycling lark is nearly as dear as having a car!!

Guess I need to stop and try and make myself presentable for the Hospital - will probably take a good couple of hours
