On Monday I was driving towards Moreton in Marsh to visit one of my favourite clients when I experienced an attack of triple vision.  This means I see 3 roads but do not know which of the three I am driving on, immediately I put on the indicators and slowly stopped at the side of the road - fortunately I stopped on the grass verge.  Very scary.

On one of the previous occasions it happened I was driving at around 85mph on M4 (sorry officer my Speedo was faulty - it would have been 65mph) just before it joins M5 - all I could do was put on hazard lights and slowly move towards the side of the road - across 4 lanes.  Again I was fortunate that when I stopped I was across the slow lane and hard shoulder.  Doctors do not know reason for this condition but I think it is when I forget my eye drops for some time.

Another reason could be lack of sleep - both of us are not getting enough sleep, cats wake us up wanting to go out or are scratching the bedroom window wanting to come in, we are overtired from early morning starts and or we are habitually waking up around 0400 as the alarm goes off at this time at least once per week.  If anyone has any solutions for a good nights sleep would appreciate their input.

Cycled today - but it was very cold and windy.  Just did the short loop but longer than usual by 8 minutes.  I think the weather is to improve over the weekend so look forward to getting more exercise.  I do hope the wind starts to vanish very soon - it is very hard cycling with the wind against you.  I am hoping the wind will not be around in August.

Sam Walker has said he is hopeing to be able to cycle part of the route with me so  that should be fun.  He will need to practice cycling with his brakes on so that he does not leave me too  far behind.

Take care and stay safe.
